Buna Ziua!
God works in mysterious ways, but He knows what he is doing.
This week has been incredible, I love the MTC, and my district and Romanian! It really is a better language than Russian.
So when I showed up, they gave me my envelope with my
Russian nametag in it, but there was a note to see the mission
presidency. The counslor told me that due to visa problems, I had been
assigned to Romanian, and let me call you about it.
I then had a crazy few hours without a companion, since
my new companions were on P-Day. They were a week in, like you said, but
our tripanionship is great. We love being three. It is so fun.
I have really learned a lot this week. Apparently God
didn't want me to have a head start on the language. He wanted to show
me that it is through the Spirit I learn it, not through my own power.
Thank you so much for fasting for me. A miracle has happened this week. I
am already caught up to the rest of the district basically, but it
hasn't been easy. The Spirit is really essential. We teach lessons to
roleplay investigators every day, and I can contribute my good share. I
can also pray and bear testimony in Romanian. What a week. I've learned
more Romanian in a week than I learned Russian in three months.
We have 5 Romanian teachers to split between the 7 of
us (district), so it is Tare! (Awesome) Our tripanionship is one class. We have great teachers. They
showed so much confidence in me, which really helped me catch on to
Romanian. My companions helped me a lot too. Everyone is so awesome and
friendly and loving here.

Sunday Devotional we had Jenny Oaks Baker, and it was
as much a concert as a devotional. Her kids played a
violin/cello/piano/guitar number as well. We had Jay E. Jensen, emeritus
authority on Tuesday.
The Provo temple has been closed since July 1, but it will open next week! I can't wait!
Thanks again for fasting. This week has been a miracle.
Ciao Ciao! Pa pa!
