Hey!
And my new companion is... Elder S! Yeah! This is
so cool! My MTC companion! This transfer is going to be so fun. It's a
step up of responsibility for me, going co-senior, but I feel ready for
it. I'm really excited to introduce him to our amazing branch here and
our super cool investigators. One of our investigators read his assignment in the Book of
Mormon, and we will be meeting with his family again tonight! And we
have an older couple that requested a copy of the Book of Mormon that we
are now teaching. We are going to start this transfer strong!
And what's really interesting is the rest of the
district. We were really tight this transfer. A really good district.
But now, only Sora D and me will be staying in Cluj! The other
elders will be whitewashed. So this week, I will have to show three elders how to get around
Cluj instead of just one. And I'll be the Cluj vet this transfer. I'm
the one to turn to about this city now. I hope I can remember
everything!
And regarding the sisters, the whole mission is pretty
interesting right now. The new group that is coming in will be nine
sisters and zero elders. What?! And, there are now four sets of Sister
Training Leaders. Sora D and Sora T will be STLs in Cluj. And
every city in Romania will have sisters now. It's pretty impressive.
There will be 40 sisters in the mission, only 6 of which will not be
either STLs, trainers, or trainees.
And about my personal money. I got my book now, and tried
to withdraw the money this week, but the ATMs won't take my card
anymore. Elder C said the same thing happened to him the second
time he tried to use his card from home, even though he had told the
bank that he would be in Romania. Could you try to get the card
reactivated for me? Sorry for the trouble.
Specially bound Book of Mormon
There was more that happened this week, but I'm having trouble remembering. It was a long week.
Last P-day we went out to Polus mall, a big mall on the
outskirts of town. That was a lot of fun. Pizza Hut had an all-you-can
eat deal on, so we basically spent the afternoon in there. It was a good
deal in Romanian prices, for 22 lei. I can't let myself start comparing
food prices when I get back home, or I will cringe every time I go to
the grocery store.
Love you all! Pa!
Elder Lybbert
