Well, I'm short on time again, as happens so
often. But we had a good week, and now that the weather is getting
better, spirits are high! It was so nice today!
My favourite hymn would be I Know that my Redeemer Lives. Though in
Romanian, I like Este soare-n sufletul meu azi, since it was the
Constanta branch's favourite.
Last week, we had
a great p day activity that I neglected to mention. It's why we did
internet earlier than usual. We went to the Turda Salt Mines! It was
really fun. Turda is a city about 40 minutes away, and the salt mine
there has been converted into a tourist attraction/amusement park.
Everything is coated in salt down there, and in one of the giant rooms
down there they have everything from bowling to a ferris wheel. It was a
pretty cool day. And I took a bunch of pictures too.
Then, due to the terrible weather in the mission, we received permission to watch Frozen on Tuesday. We saw it in Romanian,
and that was so cool! It was cool to hear some more colloquial language,
and the movie itself was really great too.
Our English classes are still going strong, and we
have a dinner appointment and lesson set up with one of the students who
lives right next to our bus stop! Super convenient!
And, Elder C and I are launching on a new goal of constant
contacting, on the street, on the bus, wherever we go. I think this will
really help us out. It's a lot of work, but it enables us to be much
more effective with our time and talk to more people! We are planning to
make these last two weeks of the transfer really count!
Love you all,
Elder Lybbert
