Rainbow

Hi everyone!

We had a great week, but the time really flew by. We didn't have much spare time at all!

We had our zone training meeting on Wednesday, and though it had been a little stressful for us putting it together, it went great! All the missionaries that we had assigned to do presentations really stepped up to the plate and did a very good job. And Sora O helped us out with lunch by making a delicious soup for everyone.

Right after the meeting, we went back to Brasov with that district to do our exchange there. I got to have another day with Elder B in Brasov, and it was great. He really is doing a good job as a trainer and district leader, and is growing a lot in confidence and ability.

Then, by the time we got back to Sibiu Friday morning, the week was almost over. We had district meeting and a games night activity with our investigators, then before we knew it, it was Saturday, English class, and zone finances! We also had a district contacting activity where we sang hymns in the park, and that was cool.

On Sunday, our investigator came to church again with his son, and they enjoyed it. Then he invited us to his house for lunch after, and we had another delicious ciorba (sour soup). He is great, super friendly, and his son is hilarious too. His son kept asking us to say words in English, and he seemed to think they were the funniest thing ever.  It was great.

I am feeling really good right now. Things are going good in Sibiu, nothing incredible or miraculous, but we keep going. I feel that I have really learned a lot already since I arrived in Sibiu. I was really struggling to keep going for the first transfer with the lack of success here, but I feel I have learned a lot about patience. My work ethic is not affected by outward results so much anymore. I don't care quite as much about the numbers. I just want to be a better missionary and move this work forward. The Lord really is taking care of me.

Thanks for reading!
